!!!!EXTREMELY POOR and UNPROFESSIONAL MOVING EXPERIENCE- AVOID!!!!

My first move after arriving in Australia was supposed to be smooth, so I chose Ozzy On The Move based on positive reviews and my professional initial interaction with Joydeep. Unfortunately, the actual experience was extremely disappointing and stressful.

Key issues:
• Late arrival: Expected between 9–11 AM but arrived only at 12:45 PM with no prior notice.
• Unprepared team: Removalists did not bring basic tools or packing materials.
• Job unnecessarily stretched: What should have been a 3-hour job took almost 8 hours.
• Careless handling: Entire crockery set broken, computer stand, chest of drawers, king cot, and shoe stand damaged. Several screws were also lost.
• No protective packing: Refrigerator and washing machine were moved without proper protection.
• Unprofessional behaviour: I was asked to help with the work and repeatedly asked to provide cold drinks. No apology was offered despite the damage.
• Personal tools taken: Since they lacked tools, they used mine and left with them. Despite multiple follow-ups, they have not been returned.
• No response on insurance: It has been over two weeks and I have still not received any response regarding damage cover or compensation.

Overall, this was a highly unprofessional and careless service that caused significant damage and inconvenience. I hope the company takes responsibility and resolves the outstanding issues.

Pymble move to Gordon.
The 3 boys who attended were super fast, completing our move in just 5 hours. This is 2 hours faster than the team who moved us in originally. They took good care of all our items with no damage. The lads even had to take the stairs as the lift was out of order and they took this in their stride. Couldn’t be happier with the service and good nature of the team. Would recommend them for anyone moving home.

Could improve:
1. Was not told that 10% gst would be added on top unless i pay cash
2. Was asked and pushed to give 5 star review. Pls stop this practice
3. Expecting that they would get help in moving things. Ofcourse i did help as they were taking their own time
4. My move was postponed by a day as they got delayed in earlier move in the day

Movers were very slow. Unloading experience was better than loading. We helped them throughout. I wasn't informed about the charges for stairs and travel time. $50 for stairs was bit much when between 3 girls we moved pretty much everything for the movers down one flight of stairs. All they moved was fridge, washing machine, TV unit, TV, couch, bed, light coffee table, dining table and study desk. I had weights, I helped even move those downstairs yet he was getting cranky at me that they don't carry more than 20kgs and I should've disclosed. I told him I already did. I was told by the company that at the time of the payment, discount can be discussed but at the time of payment, no one was picking up the phone. There was lack of clarity on GST and I was made to feel that they did me a favor by not charging it. Honestly, if you do bank transfer, it doesn't apply anyway so I don't know what he was talking about. Despite, moving most of the stuff for them, it still took them 6 hours and 20 minutes. That was unacceptable. It wouldn't have taken this long if they had sent two strong and experienced people for the job. One seemed to know what he was doing but being so slow as if you taking a stroll and the other was following around. Max the job needed 4 hours if it needed to be stretched. I already felt I was being overcharged but I just wanted them out so that I can start unpacking. So I paid. On top of all this, we (3 girls) have been moving since Friday, Sat, pretty much all day with these guys, we haven't eaten or had water since morning and here these guys hassling me to leave a review on the spot. I replied, mate that's the last thing on my mind right now. However, this behavior did reflect why these guys had good reviews. One of the reasons why I hire them. I get it no movers are perfect but it could've gone better. Nothing was damaged so that was a good thing. Hopefully this honest review helps someone. Good luck!

Had a terrible experience with Ozzy on the move. They committed for 7 ton but sent 4.5 ton truck instead. I have attached truck pictures amd rego. The driver won't agree that it's 4.5 ton and insisted that he dodged the Rego to save on parking tickets.

This mess ended up taking 14 hours to move 2 bedroom apartment to a house in two rounds. On denying the payments, the drivers intimidated and blocked the house driveway.

I had raised with Ozzy on the Move team, but didn't hear back anything yet after 5 days. Please refrain from these guys.

The move was overall good and I applaud the hard work the boys did especially it was raining and had to move a bulky couch. However few things I dont quite like.

1. Forced to leave a positive feedback. It should be voluntary and Stars will come if service is good.
2. Some boxes arrived at home sideways or upside down causing few dents.
3. NOT upfront about the cost. I was never told that GST is not yet on the price. In Australia, tax is always inluded in the sticker price. This is not USA. Feels a bit scam in that front, especially I was told After the job was done.
4. I was kinda forced to give a TIP bacause there was some stairs. Again this is not USA. 50 bucks additional! I gave more since it was almost 5 hour job. But i dont like being forced.

Will I recommend to friends? Nope there are cheaper Movers, or at least no Hidden fees.

Sorry I have to leave a truthful feedback.

Had a really great experience with Ozzy on the Move. Jatin and Vivek were extremely professional and helpful on the day. They arrived on time and got set up. I was impressed that they didn't start officially charging until they moved the first item from my apartment and made sure that they knew I was aware of the time. If they noticed imperfections on my furniture they let me know before they moved it. I appreciated their honesty and hard work. They were also willing to accomodate my request to drop a piece of furniture to my aunties place that was nearby without complaint. When I booked I was upfront about making sure there would be no hidden costs or changes of pricing on the day (I have had bad experiences in the past with other removalist companies). They assured me I would be charged as advertised and followed through with that promise. Overall I would definitely recommend Ozzy on the Move and a huge thanks to Jatin and Vivek for all their help.

Overall I'm very happy with the service and the moving done. Vivek and Jatin were attentive and careful of the luggage. They were professional and were optimal in terms of the time taken to complete the move.

Even though there was quite a bit of slope and stairs at one property, they were quick to find alternative route via garage and make the move seamless.

Exceptional and outstanding customer service from start to finish. The team was incredibly polite and efficient. Their telephone etiquette and preparation and organisations tips were phenomenal, and as someone with no assembly experience, booking Ozzy on The Move gave me the confidence that they were the correct people for the task.

They also are proficient at following up compared with other companies because they exert effort and desire your business. As an occupied individual, I genuinely appreciated the follow-up.

On the designated day, they were very lively and sincere and transparent regarding logistics and timing. They are knowledgeable and can think creatively to accommodate any potential obstacles. The team was sturdy and fit and also treated your items as if they were their own. If you're sufficiently prepared as well, it makes it easy for the team to proceed with the work.

In the previous decade, I've employed 3 relocation companies, and without a doubt, Ozzy on The Move have been one of the best. I would unequivocally employ them again instantly. Do yourself a favour, contact Ozzy on The Move for a conversation about your move (be candid and detailed with them as they are there to assist and they can estimate how much time they will require) and schedule the team! Thank-you.

Contacted Ozzy on the Move a few weeks ago but finally booked with another company. The first company I hired, which appeared reputable with a good-looking website and over 1000 Google reviews, quoted me a higher price, and I regretfully chose them. What a mistake that was! I have three young kids, and my house was all packed to go. The first company made me wait the whole day and then refused, leaving me in trouble. Ozzy on the Move has proven to be a much better, more reliable choice. These guys managed to fit me in at short notice on the same day and still honored the quoted price I requested weeks ago. Two guys and a medium-sized truck arrived at 7 pm; they were a bit late, but understandable due to heavy traffic around the city that day. My previous home was in a busy area in Newtown with narrow roads. The guys quickly found a proper loading zone and got to work promptly. Both were super friendly and professional—delightful guys to work with overall. Highly recommended! I will definitely call them again.

I highly recommend these movers. Give them ago.
